WHAT IS PWYP!
You don't lead by pointing and telling people some place to go. You lead by going to that place and making a case. —Ken Kesey
Hello superstar, how are you doing today? I believe your week was great? This newsletter comes with a little twist. I am on the rebranding mission so for the next couple of weeks, I will be sharing some insights on a Core leadership Trait that I possess. It is called Accountability.
First, I urge you to sit with your journal as you answer these questions.
1. What is Leadership?
2. Who is a leader?
3. What is my leadership style?
4. Who are my followers?
5. What is my signature message and why am I attractive to my tribe?
I will be sitting with it to unpack my answers as well because a leader must first lead himself. I strongly believe the insights that will come through will be phenomenal.
In attempt research what other thought leaders have to say about leadership, I found this perspective highly instructive.
Leadership is defined by 3 outcomes: direction, alignment, and commitment — and it’s a social process, where individuals work together to produce results that they could never achieve alone. This was nicely crafted by center for creative leadership.
HBR has identified eight unique primary leadership styles which I have listed below with some characteristics. It would be great to identify yours.
Your primary leadership styles:
1. COLLABORATOR: empathetic, team-building, talent-spotting, coaching oriented.
2. ENERGIZER: charismatic, inspiring, connects emotionally, provides meaning.
3. PILOT: strategic, visionary, adroit at managing complexity, open to input, team oriented.
4. PROVIDER: action oriented, confident in own path or methodology, loyal to colleagues, driven to provide for others.
5. HARMONIZER: reliable, quality-driven, execution-focused, creates positive and stable environments, inspires loyalty.
6. FORECASTER: learning oriented, deeply knowledgeable, visionary, cautious in decision making.
7.. PRODUCER: task focused, results oriented, linear thinker, loyal to tradition.

Every genuine leader who wants to create legacy must have the capacity to do this in simple terms: Practice What You Preach (PWYP).
T.P.F.W Segment:
The passage for the week is 2 Timothy 1:7 (NIV)
"For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline."
A.T.W Segment:
Around the world this week:
Having An “Aha!” Moment When Solving A Puzzle “Almost Doubles” Your Memory.
“If you have an ‘aha! moment’ while learning something, it almost doubles your memory. There are few memory effects that are as powerful as this.” What the team saw was that solutions that came with an “aha!” moment were remembered much better by participants than those they had worked out more deliberately. The more strongly someone felt that their flash of inspiration was correct, the more likely they’d be to remember it five days later.
Thank you for reading through and investing time to learn. Remember to answer the questions and send me a reply sharing your insights.
Be Phenomenal!!!
